Year 4 Forest School Adventures Year 4 have fully embraced the opportunity to attend Forest School this half term! Children have immersed themselves in every activity, especially enjoying exploring the mud, testing their balance on the slackline and even making fires As part of their English learning, the children have used their first-hand experiences to write informative texts about Forest School, with Year 6 as their audience. We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm, teamwork, and creativity outdoors - what a fantastic experience for everyone involved!

Reception Murphy Forest School Fun! On Thursday, our Reception Murphy children enjoyed a fantastic Forest School Stay and Play session with their families! It was wonderful to see children confidently exploring the outdoors, building dens, climbing, and getting creative in the mud kitchen. These sessions are a great way for families to experience first-hand how Forest School supports children's development from building resilience and confidence to developing important physical skills. Thank you to all the families who joined us and embraced the adventure. We hope you enjoyed sharing in your child's learning and gathering ideas to continue the fun at home. Well done, Reception Murphy what brilliant explorers you are!

Celebrating Our Discover Values Award Winners! This morning, we were delighted to celebrate our Discover Values award winners! Each child has truly embodied our school value of Discover, demonstrating kindness, resilience, curiosity and a positive attitude to learning throughout the week. We are so proud of the way they represent our school family every single day. A huge well done to all of our winners - you are brilliant role models and an inspiration to others!

Happy Half Term, Everyone! We hope all our children and families have a wonderful May half-term break! Take this time to relax, have fun and enjoy making special memories together. With the warmer weather expected, please remember to stay safe in the heat keep hydrated, wear sun protection and take care in the sun. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 1st June 2026.
