A massive thank you to all of our Year 1 families who were able to join us this morning. We were so pleased to see such a great turnout! Your presence made the event so special for the children and it was lovely to have the opportunity to connect with you all.
The children are having an amazing time on their residential! It's wonderful to see them building new friendships, learning new skills, and making so many happy memories. We're posting a full update and a selection of photos daily on our website. Make sure you take a look!
Hello Yellow – World Mental Health Day On Friday 10th October 2025, we will be proud to support YoungMinds, the UK's leading charity for children and young people's mental health. We're inviting all children and staff to wear something yellow to school and bring along a small donation. Together, we can raise awareness and vital funds to support young people who may be struggling. Mrs Van Straaten, Headteacher, will also be wearing yellow too – and we'd love our whole school community to join me in showing our children that they are seen, heard and supported. YoungMinds also offer fantastic resources for parents and carers if you ever need advice or support: www.youngminds.org.uk/parent 0808 802 5544 (open 9.30am–4pm) www.youngminds.org.uk/parents-helpline/ Let's make Friday 10th October a bright, hopeful day for our children. Wear it loud. Wear it proud. We stand brighter, together.
