LSP3 - Inclusion

We have developed an exciting new role for an experienced LSP3; who really shares our passion for inclusion. You will be key to meeting the diverse needs of our pupil population, working under the direction of our Inclusion lead. Your role will be varied and engaging.

We already have some really interesting provision and ways of meeitng pupil needs which we call our structured learning environments, one of these is our L2L (learn to learn) provision which supports a hybrid approach to children accessing their home year group as well as small group and one to one interventions.

We are looking for a motivated, flexible, adaptable and caring individual with the capacity to work proactively and effectively. We are a ‘Good’ school, as judged by Ofsted.

The working hours are 8.45-4.00 each day. This is a permanent post. You will join a teaching and support team with high aspirations regarding meeting learner needs.

You need to be appropriately literate and numerate. You will need to have experience of delivering high quality phonic sessions (we use Little Wandle). Your role will involve high quality support to learning and achievement for vulnerable groups; particularly within Early Years and KS1. You will need to be adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of the role on any typical busy Temple Meadow day. You will be working under the direction of the inclusion lead, sharing your ideas and helping to shape this ever evolving provision.

This post will start as soon as we possibly can have you! You need to have an NVQ3 or equivalent qualification and you must have prior experience of working in a Primary school setting;  in a paid post capacity, as a member of the Learning Support team (this post is not suitable for applicants with only work experience in school).

LSP3 staff at Temple Meadow need to be highly professional, adaptable and child centred. This post requires experience of working in urban areas such as Sandwell, within a primary school. Ideally you will have key training from your current setting that will benefit you in this role; this might include: First Aid; Little Wandle; WellComm; Food Hygiene.  You must be skilled at emotion coaching. You will of course need to be calm, flexible, adaptable and professional in all your interactions with pupils. You must absolutely love working with children; helping them to develop their full potential. Of course, you need to be reliable, responsible, hardworking and ever mindful of safeguarding issues.

School Meal Supervisor

Temple Meadow Governing Body wishes to appoint a motivated and caring Lunchtime Supervisor. The post will start ASAP following completion of clearances and receipt of satisfactory references. The successful applicant will possess all the required skills and must have experience of, and love working with children within the primary age group.  Ideally you will have experience of lunch time supervision in a school setting, and may have appropriate first aid training.

We have recently introduced an irresistible lunchtime strategy, that helps to ensure all pupils enjoy an engaging and highly enjoyable lunchtime experience; which supports positive behavior choices. The successful applicant will be an instrumental part of this delivery.

It goes without saying, you need to be reliable, responsible, hardworking and ever mindful of safeguarding issues.
