We have a really exciting opportunity for you to start your ECT journey as a teacher at Temple Meadow. You will be joining our fantastic teaching team in September 2024. This is an opportunity to be part of a very dynamic team and to be part of our teaching and learning culture, which is value led and embraces collaborative techniques and our own unique ways of ensuring we have excellent learning behaviours in classrooms. By joining us you will thrive and grow as a teacher and, most important of all, feel highly valued and believed in. At Temple Meadow we listen to teacher voice, and you are key to shaping our teaching and learning culture, ever mindful of workload and well-being.

We are looking for a KS2 Early Career Teacher (ECT). Ideally you will have experience on your placements of urban Local Authorities, such as Sandwell, and an understanding of the range of diverse needs that affect school life.

We need you to bring us your ability to teach effectively; be a consummate professional; have a love of learning, adaptability and commitment to teaching as a career. As an ECT we are just what you need in terms of developing your teaching and leadership skills. We provide a wealth of CPD opportunities through staff training; coaching and mentoring; and working with external providers. We have a distinct learning culture that makes things irresistible and that has many collaborative techniques that engage learners. We are very innovative; we work together on solving the problems each year brings. All our curriculum subjects are well developed with really exciting and engaging learning journeys; we have easy to use, smart assessment systems for all subjects. We are currently part of a ‘Teach like a Champion’ project that provides great opportunities for you to have high impact as a teacher.

Our aim with this advert is to attract an ECT that is really imaginative and innovative and who wants to build their career with a school that is forward thinking.

We are all really proud of our school; we offer a vibrant and stimulating learning environment. We really do have the most fantastic pupils with excellent behaviour and attitude to learning.
