School Administrative Officer

At Temple Meadow we have a wonderful opportunity for a School Administrative Officer to join our team. We are seeking an adaptable, flexible, competent, hardworking and committed candidate, with experience of working in a School Office environment. To be successful you must be professional, extremely efficient and self–motivated; able to prioritise and multitask.

You will join our Office Team which includes our School Business Manager, our School Officer Manager and our other School Office Administrator. Our Office Team are an integral part of our lovely school.

This post involves daily school office operational activities; administrative support for curriculum ICT; processing of weekly finance tasks; asset management; support to the leadership team including SENDCO; curriculum resourcing and supporting H&S administrative systems including First Aid.  You will have the opportunity to work on diverse school based tasks such as collating information from questionnaires or any other activity that helps support the efficiency and ambition of the school. 

It is essential that you can communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders which of course includes our pupils. You must be a competent user of Microsoft Office packages. Ideally, you will have experience of using core school management information systems including SIMS and FMS; however, training will of course be provided for the right candidate. In addition, schools use a selection of curriculum based software, which you will be involved in administering.

The working hours will be 0930-1700 (0830-1600 on a Wednesday). This is a permanent post that will start as soon as we possibly can have you!

Class Teacher KS1

We have a really exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to join our fantastic teaching team at Temple Meadow for September. This is an opportunity to be part of a highly skilled team and to be part of our teaching and learning culture; that is value led and embraces collaborative techniques and our own unique ways of ensuring, we have excellent learning behaviours in classrooms. By joining us you will thrive and continue to develop as a teacher and most important of all feel highly valued and believed in. At Temple Meadow we listen to teacher voice and you are key to shaping our teaching and learning culture, ever mindful of workload and well-being.

We are looking to recruit a KS1 Teacher to join us in September. Ideally you will have experience already within urban Local Authorities such as Sandwell and an understanding of the range of diverse needs that affect school life.

We need you to be a competent and confident teacher ready for a change and ready to embrace a very interesting teaching and learning culture. Of course, you will be a consummate professional; have a love of learning, adaptability and commitment to teaching as a career. We provide a wealth of CPD opportunities through staff training; coaching and mentoring; and working with external providers. We are one of the very fortunate schools currently in Sandwell involved with the PEIA (Teach Like a Champion Project). On their recent diagnostic day with us, the TLC team were blown away by what we already do so well, in terms of our teaching culture and learning behaviours. Joining us you will benefit from how this exciting CPD will continue to develop our talented staff team. At Temple Meadow our distinct learning culture makes learning irresistible. Our many collaborative techniques engage all learners. We are very innovative, we work together on solving the problems each year brings. All our curriculum subjects are well developed with really exciting and engaging learning journeys (we use a unique commission approach for many subjects that ensures the learning is relevant, fun, cohesive and engaging). We have easy to use, smart assessment systems for all subjects.

Our aim with this advert is to attract a qualified teacher (not an ECT) who is very imaginative, innovative and who wants to build their career with a school that is forward thinking.  Within our school structure we have opportunities for you to develop and gain a TLR responsibility and potentially leadership in the future. All our teachers co-ordinate a subject or area of responsibility. Please be prepared to share with us your ideas on an area that you could co-ordinate via your application form.
