Hi, I’m Sarah Lowe and I’m really pleased to be one of the Parent Governors at Temple Meadow. I actually attended the school myself back in the 90s, so it’s been really special to see how it’s grown and changed over the years - especially when my own children started here after we moved back to the area.

I have five children, all of whom have attended Temple Meadow, and I currently have two still at the school. It’s played a big part in our family life, and I care deeply about supporting both the school and its community.

I became a Parent Governor to help give parents a voice and to be part of making sure all children feel happy, included, and able to thrive. I’m down-to-earth and approachable, with a genuine interest in mental health and wellbeing for both children and parents.

Outside of school, I’m a civil committee member for our local RAF Air Cadets, where I help support the staff and young people through fundraising and community events. I also bring some insight from my past experience working in aviation as a security officer at Birmingham Airport.

In my spare time, I enjoy arts and crafts, forest walks, and getting lost in a good book—but most of all, I love spending quality time with my children and making memories together. I’m really looking forward to being involved and doing what I can to support Temple Meadow and its families
