What an exciting week it has been at Temple Meadow as we welcome the festive season! Christmas is truly arriving in school, and the children have been busy enjoying a range of memorable experiences.
Our Year 6 children took part in an incredible fieldwork project exploring our local community. They visited two contrasting locations to compare features such as traffic and litter, even conducting surveys with members of the public. Before returning to school, they carried out a litter pick and collected an astonishing 28kg of rubbish in just 30 minutes! This hands-on learning not only supported their geography studies but also showed the importance of caring for our environment. Well done, Year 6!

Year 1 had a magical day at Dudley Zoo, where they explored the zoo, saw a variety of animals, and even met Santa in his grotto. It was a wonderful festive experience that the children will remember for a long time.

Reception rounded off their superhero topic with a fantastic Superhero Day! The children came dressed as their favourite superheroes and enjoyed creative challenges and activities throughout the day. It was a brilliant celebration of imagination and fun.

We were delighted to welcome Mr Taylor back to school for an engaging talk with Year 6 about the Second World War, further enriching their learning.
We are thrilled to celebrate some fantastic written English work produced by two our Year 5 children this week. Their creativity, vocabulary choices and attention to detail have been outstanding.

Thank you for your continued support in making these experiences possible. We look forward to sharing more festive cheer and learning adventures with you as the term continues.
