It has been an inspiring and rewarding week at Temple Meadow Primary School and I am delighted to share some of the wonderful highlights with you.
Nursery Visit to Wyre Forest
On Wednesday, our Nursery children had an amazing time exploring The Wyre Forest. They loved crunching through the autumn leaves, spotting the Gruffalo and even helping to find Stick Man! A huge thank you to all the families who joined us; we hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did. This is the first time as a school that our Nursery cohort have experienced an off-site visit and we are delighted with how successful it was.
Football Tournament Success
We are thrilled to announce that a group of 8 children represented Temple Meadow brilliantly at the inter-school football tournament held at West Bromwich Albion’s Academy Dome. They competed with great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship, showcasing our school values throughout the event.
They came second in their group, narrowly missing out on the next stage by just one point.
We are so proud of their efforts and the way they represented Temple Meadow.
Family Engagement Evening
Wednesday's Family Engagement Evening was a fantastic success, with the highest number of appointments ever booked! It was wonderful to see so many families engaging with teachers and celebrating children’s progress. We are also pleased to see the My Child at School app working so well for bookings. Thank you for your support; we hope you enjoyed the evening and found it valuable. A huge thank you to our Head Boys and Head Girls who supported the event with the running of our tuck shop and helping with many other responsibilities.
We'd also like to thank our Governors who were able to join us.
Children in Need
A huge thank you for your generosity during our Children in Need fundraising activities. Together, we raised an incredible £209.85! Your kindness helps make a real difference.

Poppy Appeal
We are thrilled to announce that Temple Meadow has raised the highest amount in the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal across Sandwell and Dudley schools! 
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families and the hard work of our children, we collected an amazing £475.31 for this important cause. 
This means we will proudly receive The Harry Sturman Memorial Trophy, which recognises the school that raises the most during the appeal.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed; your kindness makes a real difference to those who have served and their families.
