It’s been a lovely week across school with our Sports Day! Thank you to all the families who attended and for sharing your positive comments and feedback on Facebook.
Here are a few of our favourite pictures - well done to everyone who participated!

Whilst all children received a certificate, we also celebrated one child per class this morning as our Sports Day Star.
Well done to Santana, Zaire, Charlotte, Hannah, Evelyn, Ajla, Ava, Scarlet, Clarke, Pearl, Tinuka and Hashim.

Next week, we will be hosting our Nursery Sports Day on Friday 4th July.
- AM session: 10:30am
- PM session: 2:00–3:00pm
Children who attend our 30-hour provision are welcome to join either session.
We also welcomed the School Health Nurse Team to the playground after school on Wednesday. They enjoyed chatting with many of you about staying safe in the sun.
Reception Pirate Day is on Monday! Children are invited to come to school dressed as a pirate for the day. Costumes can be as simple or as creative as you like – feel free to use materials from home to create your own. We will also be sharing some inspiration and ideas on Tapestry to help you get started.
Year 2 are off on their trip to Weston also on Monday! We’ll be sharing lots of pictures on Facebook so you can see what they’ve been up to.
If you’d like to give consent for your child to appear in some of the photos, please update your preferences on the MCAS app.
Year 2 will also be celebrating their work on Cloud Tea Monkey on Wednesday by hosting a tea party for all Year 2 families at 2:15pm.
Year 4 will be visiting Halesowen Town Hall on Friday to watch a performance of Shrek, presented by children from Ormiston Forge.
At this time of year, there are always so many wonderful things happening around school. We can't wait for our children to take part in the many celebrations and visits as they create lasting memories and enjoy the remaining weeks of our summer term.
Meet The Teacher
Children will be finding out who their class teacher will be for the next academic year on Thursday and will spend the morning with them, getting to know each other.
I’ll also be sending home a communication on Thursday so you can see our full staffing model for next year.
Please be reminded that your child’s Growth and Progress Summary (report) will be sent home later this term, on Friday 11th July.
Families will have the opportunity to meet their child’s new teacher more formally early in the autumn term.
