What a busy and extremely warm week it’s been! Please do remember to send your child to school with a refillable water bottle and a named sunhat to help them stay cool and protected. We also ask that suncream is applied before school, as staff are unable to do this during the day.
A big thank you to Ms Dale and our brilliant Pupil Parliament who have launched and led our Healthy Eating Week, encouraging everyone to make healthier snack and tuck choices - what a fantastic initiative!
Huge thanks also to Miss Clarke for organising and running this year’s Science Fair. It’s always such a joy to see how families collaborate at home on their projects, and even more rewarding to watch the children confidently share their knowledge and experiments with so much pride and enthusiasm. Please head over to our Facebook page to see some of the amazing entries. Congratulations to Arthur, Evie-Mae, Kimberley, Jason, Lucy, Finley and Bethany for being our 2025 Science Fair champions!

Last night, we were delighted to welcome our Reception 2025 families - it was lovely to see so many familiar faces and to meet new ones as we grow our Temple Meadow family.
Looking ahead, we are excited about our Sports Days on Tuesday:
- Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 – 9:15am
- Reception, Years 1 and 2 – 1:30pm
The forecast is looking hot again - hopefully a touch cooler! We’ll be selling drinks and crisps for adults during the event, with all proceeds going towards our HugglePets Fundraiser, so don’t forget your loose change. All children will be provided with a Tip Top, but refreshments for children will not be available for purchase.
It is vital that children come dressed in their PE kit, bring a refillable water bottle, wear a named sunhat, and have suncream applied before school.
We know families love capturing special moments and you’re welcome to take photographs during Sports Day. However, we kindly ask that any photos taken are for personal use only and must not be shared on social media if they include children other than your own. This is to protect the privacy of all pupils and families.
Finally, a reminder that next Wednesday, 25th June, we’ll be welcoming the Sun Safety Roadshow to school. The School Health Nurse Team will be on site, available to chat about sun safety and answer any questions. Please do feel free to drop in and speak with them - it’s a great opportunity to find out more about keeping your child safe in the sun.
