It has been another busy and enjoyable week at Temple Meadow!

We took part in the RRLC Dance Festival alongside 11 other schools, creating a fantastic celebration of dance and teamwork. Our Coffee Morning was a great success, with our Occupational Therapist and Kaleidoscope providing valuable support to families and answering their many questions. We also participated in an exciting cricket event hosted by Change to Shine and Huggle Pets held their penultimate session with us, bringing plenty of smiles.

We apologise for any confusion regarding Thursday 1st May. Due to Government changes to local elections, school will definitely be open to children on this day.

Dance Festival

Wow, what an incredible Rowley Regis Learning Community Dance Festival!

With 11 schools and 115 children taking part, every single child represented their school and our community with pride—not just with their fantastic dancing, but also through their interactions and impeccable manners.

We set out with the following objectives, and we believe we absolutely delivered:

Bringing schools together to celebrate the joy of dance

Showcasing the amazing talents of our children

Promoting teamwork, respect, and a sense of community.

A huge thank you to all the schools who worked so hard to prepare their performances; it was an absolute pleasure to see all of their smiling faces. We are so proud of everyone who participated!

Special thanks to Miss Nugent for her leadership and to all the school staff who attended to ensure everything ran smoothly. What a celebration of talent and teamwork!

Green Tree - Silver Award

A huge congratulations to our incredible Year 5 cohort, who have worked hard for our school achieve the Green Tree School - Silver Award!

As part of the journey to this award, the children took part in a variety of activities across our school grounds. One particularly creative activity involved exploring our environment through a bug’s-eye view. Their photographs are absolutely stunning, and we just had to share them with you—what amazing photography skills!

Forest School Pizza Making!

Last week, children had the opportunity to make delicious pizzas in our beautiful Forest School outdoor setting and as you can see, they had an amazing time!
