Friday 4th October 2024

Dear Families,

This week, we have had the pleasure of welcoming our new nursery children, as well as many other families across the school. It has been wonderful to see everyone settling in and becoming part of our school community.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to the families who attended our Reception Phonics Workshop today. It’s so important that we continue to work together to support our children’s learning journey and your involvement makes a huge difference.

🌟 A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Community! 🌟

We are truly overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness shown by all of our families who have donated food to the Black Country Foodbank.

Your support has made a real difference in helping local families. Every tin, every packet and every item donated means that we have been able to help someone in need.

Together, we are making a positive impact on the lives of so many.

Once again, thank you for your incredible support. Let's continue to care of our community.

Coffee Morning

Discover Coffee Morning Events & Activities in Birmingham, United Kingdom | EventbriteSending a heartfelt thank you to those families who attended our coffee morning. It was wonderful seeing over 30 of you join to network, seek advice and support one another.

The energy in the room was truly inspiring and I loved witnessing families connecting and building relationships. I hope you found the free uniforms, clothing, and books beneficial as well.

We’ve received such positive feedback and it’s a testament to the strong community we’re fostering here at Temple Meadow. Your support means so much and it makes me incredibly proud to be your Headteacher.

Thank you once again for making the event a success. I look forward to seeing you at future gatherings!

Positive Glows

As part of our commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for our children, we are excited to introduce a new initiative called the "Positive Glow". This is part of our Positive Interactions Policy, which focuses on celebrating the wonderful moments we see from children throughout the day.

Each time a child has a 'wow' moment within school, we may acknowledge this by sending children home with a 'Positive Glow' note This note will include a small message to share with you at home, highlighting why we are so proud of them.

We believe that recognising and celebrating these positive moments helps build confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of belonging. Please take a moment to read and celebrate these little notes with your child—they are a reflection of their growth and efforts!

Census Day Celebration Menu

We want to extend a big thank you to all of our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 families who chose for their child to receive a Universal Free School Meal on Census Day yesterday.

By doing so, not only did your child receive a tasty free meal, but it also helped our school to receive funding to continue supporting the best possible education for our children.
