Stars Beyond School - our brand new Family Connect Feature!
This week, I shared a message with all families encouraging you to begin celebrating and sharing your children’s achievements beyond school. We truly enjoy seeing and hearing about the wonderful things your children are involved in and understanding what makes you so proud of them.
It’s been fantastic to already receive a number of responses to feature in this week’s Family Connect - thank you to everyone who has contributed so far.
Please do keep them coming in; we love celebrating these special moments with our school community!

Billy has been enjoying a wide range of achievements and experiences outside of school, showing real enthusiasm and dedication. He takes part in many activities, including dance, karate, where he has earned his Purple Belt and swimming, as he works towards completing Level 5.
He also attends weekly horse riding lessons, building both confidence and skill. More recently, Billy has developed a passion for professional wrestling, training twice a week and quickly progressing to sessions with adults. He loves spending time outdoors with his family, tackling challenging walks such as Pen y Fan and the Long Mynd with great determination.
A recent highlight was a trip to Las Vegas, where he explored incredible landmarks like the Grand Canyon and even attended WrestleMania, meeting professional wrestlers who inspired him to pursue his dream. Billy’s curiosity, resilience, excellent manners, and willingness to try new things make him a truly remarkable young person, and his family are incredibly proud of all he achieves.

We would also like to share that Dreyden recently achieved his Yellow Belt in MMA/Karate at Martial Arts Concepts after working really hard in training and completing his grading successfully.
He has shown dedication, discipline and perseverance while learning new skills and building his confidence. We are very proud of his achievement and commitment to his training.
We are also delighted to celebrate Jake in Year 2. Jake’s family are incredibly proud of him and for very good reason! In school, Jake was awarded Star of the Week, recognising the hard work, perseverance and determination he has shown throughout the year. This achievement is a wonderful reminder that when Jake keeps trying and doesn’t give up, he can achieve anything.
His success hasn’t stopped at the school gates either. At home, Jake has been working hard to learn how to ride his bike, showing the same resilience and commitment. His family shared how proud they are of him, not just for his achievements, but for the effort he puts in every day.
Well done, Jake! We are so proud of you both in school and beyond.
Finally, we would like to celebrate one of our parents, Sean Gill.
On 10th May, Sean took on an incredible challenge in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, playing 100 holes of golf in a single day. He described the experience as “brilliant – all 16 hours and around 500 swings of it!” A truly remarkable effort!
So far, Sean has raised an impressive £770, and together with his playing partner, they have reached a fantastic total of £1,760. Well done, our whole Temple Meadow community are proud of you.
