We hoped for a more settled few days and while it certainly has been calmer, it has also been filled with wonderful moments to celebrate - for both staff and children.
Nursery looked absolutely adorable in their pyjamas this week as they explored the difference between night and day. Our Reception and Year 2 children were blown away by the Space Dome experience - an incredible opportunity that sparked so much curiosity and excitement.

The choir also enjoyed a fantastic Wicked-themed sing‑along, and of course, Murphy the therapy dog brought his usual calm, comfort, and smiles to everyone he met.
A real highlight for staff this week was the privilege of receiving direct training from Pie Corbett himself - a renowned educator, author, and leading figure in the development of high‑quality writing pedagogy. We are proud to continue working closely with him and his team as we strengthen and refine our writing provision for all children.
Next week, we are pleased to welcome the School Health Nurse Team to our school. They will be delivering important health‑related education sessions to many year groups across the week.
Our Year 5 pupils will also be visiting Birmingham Art Gallery, and we look forward to sharing some of their photographs and experiences with you on our school Facebook page.
Miss Dale has already sent a separate communication outlining the wonderful events planned for this half-term, so please do take a moment to read through the details if you haven’t yet done so.
