We hope it's as lovely where you are as it is here, because it's so hot here, the chickens in the farm next door are laying hard-boiled eggs!! Fear not, however, as we are all regularly applying sun block, taking lots of breaks in the shade, and drinking plenty of water.
Despite six new schools arriving yesterday, we all managed to get another great night's sleep, which prepared us for another jam-packed day. Before lunch, some of us played laser tag, we completed some orienteering, and had more fun abseiling and climbing Jacob's ladder. Lunch today was burgers, BBQ chicken wraps, Quorn tacos with guacamole, salad bar and jacket potatoes.
After lunch, we had a slightly more relaxed afternoon, taking part in some more bushcraft exercises (building fires and shelters), completing obstacle courses and working in teams to solve some technical problems, using giant Meccano. Dinner tonight was hot dogs/veggie dogs, lamb meatballs, salad bar, chips, onion rings and corn on the cob. The food is definitely something we have all enjoyed!
So, that leaves us with one last thing to do, and what better way to spend our final night than a...
We are very much looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. We have all had an amazing time, but nothing is quite the same as your own bed!
