In Years 2-6, all children have been issued Office 365 login details as pupils are expected to complete their home learning via Microsoft Teams. The Office 365 package includes Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint enabling children to work on documents at home.
Teachers will teach their lessons live which gives children the opportunity to ask any questions about the work that they have been sent. Once the live lesson has concluded, children are expected to complete work, which is set as an assignment on Microsoft Teams.
We recommend that your child completes their home learning in a quiet, comfortable space with access to a pen and paper. Pupils should also have access to a drink and should take screen breaks during break and lunchtimes.
Your child's camera should be off at all times and microphones should be muted unless your child is speaking to their class teacher. Pupils can use the hands up feature to gain the attention of the class teacher and the chat feature should be used to ask work-based questions only.
If you have any technical queries, including requesting a password reset, please email us on email@example.com and we will endeavour to try and resolve your issue.
You can download the Microsoft Teams app for PC and mobile here.
Below is a user guide which gives guidance on how to use Microsoft Teams.
